Our old complicated online application is no more. Much easier now...
1] Download the Application & Print... then
2] Fill it out [completely and read-able please], and
3] Get your Application to YOUR group leader with your Check
=>made out to your group.
THEN, Your Parish/Group Leader sends all their forms to Encounter with one check made out to 'Encounter.'
*Make sure the two sides are attached, as the Permission/Release refers to the info "on the other side"...
*Remember that each parish/group sets their own costs. Check with YOUR leader.
*If you are making a bunch of copies for your parish/group, write in all the needed info first.

2] All their members should rush to fill out their Applications!
3] Get them into YOUR Group Leader along with a check to YOUR Group/Parish.

...So, ask your Leader about your costs please!]
4] Before the deadlines, April 9 & July 1, your Group Leader will gather all completed paperwork together with ONE check to 'Encounter' and get it all to us. Make sence???

We need your thoughts and input, just show up!!
Our Planning Team is a group of adults and youth from all different parishes who have a passion for making our Encounter Service Camp an incredible, life-changing experience. We meet every month to take the next step in planning for our Encounter Service Camp. Everyone who is interested is welcome and encouraged to attend and share their ideas and insights. This is truly a community project.
Preparing for an Encounter Service Camp takes most all year. Just after our Encounter Service Camp, we spend a couple months evaluating what went well and what needs to go better. We also pay attention to the needs and desires of our parishes and community. During the Fall season, we engage in Visioning and Theme discussions and decisions. The Winter Season finds us fleshing the Theme out into a movement for each day of the Service Week and beginning to sketch out the individual activities and assign accountability for their success. The Spring has us planning the various daily activities day, planning for all our meals and service sites, practicing our music, drama, witnesses and liturgy and finding ways to include as many people and parishes as possible in putting on the week. The Summer is when we finish our final plans, actually ‘do’ the Service Camp’ and begin the evaluation process.
